By installing or using the StreamEasy application (the “App”) you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These Terms apply uniformly to every edition of the App listed in section 2.
1. What the App is and is not
StreamEasy is a generic media player. It is designed to connect to an Xtream Codes–compatible server, fetch its catalogue (Live TV, Movies, Series), and play media from it on Android devices — phones, tablets, Google TV and Android TV.
StreamEasy is not:
- A content provider, content host, content aggregator, content directory, or content recommender.
- A reseller of any IPTV subscription.
- A partner or affiliate of any IPTV service.
The App is distributed with no pre-configured servers, no embedded playlists, and no built-in list of providers. It requires the user to supply credentials of a service the user has the lawful right to access.
2. Editions
StreamEasy is published in four editions on Google Play, sharing the same code base:
- StreamEasy for Google TV / Android TV — free, ad-supported (no ads currently served on the TV form factor; see Privacy Policy).
- StreamEasy Pro for Google TV / Android TV — paid, no ads.
- StreamEasy for Android phones & tablets — free, ad-supported (AdMob banner and interstitial).
- StreamEasy Pro for Android phones & tablets — paid, no ads, with Picture-in-Picture and additional features.
3. Lawful use only
You agree to use the App only to access content that you have a legal right to access. Legitimate use cases include, without limitation:
- Personal Xtream Codes servers that you own or are authorised to access.
- Licensed IPTV providers that issue Xtream Codes–compatible credentials as part of their subscription.
- Public-service broadcasters or community channels that publish open Xtream Codes endpoints.
- Test servers used during development.
4. Prohibited use
You agree that you will not use the App to:
- Access copyrighted content without authorisation from the rights holder.
- Circumvent any technological protection measure.
- Resell, share or redistribute credentials of a service that does not permit it.
- Use the App in any jurisdiction or for any purpose in which doing so would violate applicable law.
The Developer may, at its discretion and consistent with applicable law, take action against any abuse it becomes aware of, which may include restricting access to App features or cooperating with the relevant IPTV provider. The Developer is under no obligation to monitor user activity.
5. No content responsibility
Because the App neither hosts nor selects content, the Developer cannot be held responsible for any media that any individual user chooses to play through it. Any complaint about specific content should be directed to the IPTV provider that distributes that content. The App is no more responsible for what is played through it than a generic web browser is responsible for what its users visit.
6. Notice to rights holders
If you are a copyright holder and have reason to believe that an identifiable user is using the App to access infringing content, please contact the IPTV provider supplying that content. The Developer does not know which provider any given user has configured and cannot remove content that is not stored or distributed by the App.
For any other legal notice you can reach the Developer at streameasy.support@gmail.com.
7. Advertising
The free phone & tablet edition is supported by ads served by Google AdMob (banner and interstitial formats) and, for in-stream video pre-rolls, by the Google Interactive Media Ads (IMA) SDK. See the Privacy Policy for the data handling involved. The free TV edition does not currently serve ads. The paid (Pro) editions, on both phone & tablet and TV, display no ads at all.
8. Purchases
Paid editions of the App are sold through the Google Play Store as separate listings; payment, refunds and tax invoicing are handled by Google under your Google Play purchase terms. The Developer does not process payments and does not store payment information.
9. Warranty disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that any specific IPTV server will work with the App or that playback will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or any IPTV service accessed through it. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights granted to you by mandatory law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brazil, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants the user a non-waivable right to bring the action in another forum.
12. Changes
The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, announced in the App's release notes on Google Play.
